Welcome aboard! Earn your captain's license with J Nautical Ventures. We are your source for maritime training courses. We teach U.S. Coast Guard approved Zenith Maritime curriculum.

Capt. Janssen teaches Washington State Boater Safety Courses in Whatcom and Skagit counties.

We offer Wilderness First Responder and Advanced First Aid courses with CPR training for private groups.

Zenith Maritime Academy

J Nautical Ventures conducts captain's license training courses in the western United States for Zenith Maritime Academy. We offer Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels, Master 100 ton, upgrade to Master 100 ton, and Assistance Towing training programs. All courses satisfy USCG requirements leading toward your captain's license. All tests are proctored in class. No testing at a Regional Exam Center is required.
